Reading response on “A Child Called It.”
             Reading this book made me think about how bas child abuse really is. In this book the child in this named David at the age of four years old, never did anything wrong at this age, but to his mother everything he did was a problem. David could not eat unless the mother said he could (and the food was left over scraps from the garbage,) had to clean the house, was forced to sniff ammonia and drink bleach. All these abusive actions can really cause harm to this poor kid. This is the mothers little secret no one finds out.
  Overall in this book it was very emotional for me while reading it because it was really sad to read what he had to go through and showed how bad this really was for David. The sad part about this, is that it is based on a true story. So this David boy went though sop much as a child and had to keep it a secret.
